First human images from the UC Davis EXPLORER PET/CT scanner have been acquired and were presented at SNMMI 2019.

Brief description

Our research group is employing advanced PET/CT imaging devices, such as the EXPLORER total-body PET/CT system, built by our collaborators to study the pathogenesis of inflammatory arthritis such as Rheumatoid and Psoriatic Arthritis through clinical studies in humans. We continue our development of MRI-based imaging methods to study wrist instability and osteoarthritis.
